The Pyrenean Shepherd Club of America supports the owners and their dogs by offering titles of achievement such as "Versatility Pyr Shep (VP)" ,  "Record of Merit (ROM)" and "Hall of Fame (HOF)".

VERSATILITY TITLES

The Pyrenean Shepherd Club of America offers the title of  "VP"  Versatility Pyr Shep Title  to Pyrenean Shepherds who have successfully competed in a variety of events which show the versatility of the Pyr Shep.

Note:  Conformation points are standard conformation points or number of altered dogs defeated (to a maximum of 5 points per show).  For altered dogs, 15 points are equivalent to a championship.

PSCA Record of Merit Rules:
Any dog owned by a PSCA member will be entered as a PSCA Record of Merit Sire or Dam whose progeny has earned the appropriate number of champions or points, based on the following schedules.

ROMX-V DAM    25 points from any categories in at least 2 areas

HALL OF FAME SIRE OR DAM PROGRAM (HOF)

Any sire or dam that has completed ROM and ROMX-V will be given the designation Hall of Fame (HOF) Sire or Dam.

Applications for a Record of Merit award must be filled out on the PSCA  “Request for Record of Merit” form, and accompanied by both proof of titles and breeder of record for non-PSCA and AKC titles. Any applications submitted that are not legible or submitted as stated above will be returned to sender.  Please use one form per dog.  (Forms may be copied.) No fee is necessary.

Eligibility:
The PSCA Record of Merit Program is for dogs owned by PSCA members only. Certificates will be awarded accordingly.  

Recognition:
Qualifying dogs will be recognized at the PSCA Nationals Annual Meeting each year, and results will also be posted in the next published newsletter. All submissions must be postmarked by March 1 for that year. The ROM year will run Mar. 1 to Feb 28/29 of the next year.

Any PSCA member will be entered as a PSCA Hall of Fame Breeder who has earned at least 50 points  from Pyrenean Shepherds for which they are the breeder of record, based on the following point schedule (A person will be considered a breeder of record on all dogs for which they are listed on the registration papers as breeder or co-breeder).
